Great Gardens Come in Small Packages

Now that Thanksgiving is over and the Christmas season has begun, we at Miniature Gardens by Donna have become nostalgic.  The Christmas season makes us long for times and loved ones long past.  We tend to do that here, no matter the season.  That’s why our products are hand made.  We hope you have a wonderful Christmas.  Get a little lost in the feeling. Just know you are not alone in dreaming about something a bit different.

“Every journey into nature speaks more than a thousand words.” -Robbie George

Welcome to Miniature Gardens by Donna.  Here you will find a variety of things to help bring the great outdoors inside or even take it on vacation.  For planting it may be shrinking a large vegetable garden to a small portable planter, recreating a forest in a small clear container or a stroll along the beach.  You may find a stones, a soothing scent, the polished beauty of wood, or a live edge.   What ever it is, we can help feed your cravings for mother nature.

The quote above is from Robbie George.  He is a nature photographer for National Geographic.  He  understands the power and the peace that nature can bring to our lives.  It is not possible to always be out in nature.  Life and reality are great at intruding on time.  Let’s not even talk about weather.  We have a lot of other things to talk about anyway.

Below you will find links to our social media accounts. We understand that not everyone wants to shop on social media so our Shop Link is also available as well as a link to our Etsy shop.  You will find the same product and great prices just in a more familiar setting.

Seasons of Change at Miniature Gardens by Donna

Maybe it is the changing seasons.  Maybe it is the holidays coming in the next few months.  Whatever the reason, we at Miniature Gardens by Donna are focused on growth and transitions and, in a way, going home.  Not a place called home, that feeling called home.

I am going to tell you about some of the changes here on the Home Page.  Be sure to check out the other pages over the next month to see how our changes evolve. The biggest change is getting back to creating the things we love.  The things that make our souls smile.

The Blog at Miniature Gardens by Donna

I like to think that I am a pretty good writer. The truth is, that I am a better creator than I am a writer.  I just like to teach and tell stories about what I create.  We are keeping the Life of a Gardener blog, it will be just a bit different.  An update each month, instead of posts made to meet some arbitrary quota created by people selling blog and SEO instructions.  Other posts will be made when we think there is something you will really want to hear about. Keep you eyes open for a newsletter coming soon.
